GAME BASED LEARNING IN THE CLASSROOM

4th and 5th graders at NTA are writing grants to improve their school. They researched essential issue in schools by Skyping with other schools, interviewing grant writers and creating a Google Form survey for teachers. After identifying an essential issue, they wrote grants to resolve these issues. They are still in the process of writing their grants, but in the meanwhile, they have created these trailers to create excitement about their ideas. We are still working on how to use the iMovie app and how to credit online images found, but this is a great first stab at student digital creation!
